Vacancies: Lecturers -Development Studies and Gender Studies

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill
the positions which have arisen in the Faculty of Social Sciences and
Gender Development Studies at Women's University in Africa.

Lecturers: Development Studies ( at Masters Level) 2posts
Gender Studies 1post

Responsibilities
* Lecturing and developing new methods of lecturing in the above courses.
* Generating and revising course outlines for Development and Gender courses.
* Preparing and presenting students' performances in academic meetings.
* Maintaining and evaluating students performances records throughout
their programme of study.
* Carrying out research.
* Supervising students' research projects.
* Organising Faculty contribution to community services.

Qualifications and Requirements
* MSc degree in Sociology, Development and Gender Studies. A relevant
PhD qualification or studying towards one would be an added advantage
* University teaching experience
* Be of mature disposition
