Investments
The incumbent is expected:
* To plan and develop business strategies and provide leadership
direction to a multi-disciplinary
team in the implementation of those strategies.
* Maximizing returns on investments.
* Developing and maintaining sound relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ensuring that key positions in the organisation are staffed with
calibre of people who are motivated to meet ongoing challenges.
* Developing and sustaining an organisation structure appropriate to
the challenging needs of the organisation.
* Ensuring the development and acceptance of challenge of challenging
but realistic objectives, plans and budgets by subordinates.
* Ensuring that all activities
of the organisation are carried out in line with corporate governance
parameters as defined by the Board.
* Deciding and recommending in liaison with the Investment Committee
all investments to the Board.
*Preparing for meetings of the Board and its sub-committees and
presenting management reports at such meetings.
A post graduate degree in Commerce and at least 10years experience are
essential.
