Vacancy:Training Officer

Freda Rebecca Gold mine has a vacancy for suitable applicants for the
following post:

Training Officer

The successful incumbent will be reporting to the Human Resources
Manager with a dotted line to the Mine Manager.

The incumbent will be responsible for the Mine wide training function
with focus on development, implementation and co-ordination of
training programme, plan and calendar.

Accountabilities of the Role
* Have the ability to develop training programmes.
* Carry out research to identify training needs.
* Development in the training field
* Develop overall training plans
* Develop training programmes in consultation with line managers
* Train technical Supervisors who are designated as instructors to
develop training skills
* Be able to do the Administration and co-ordination of all training programs
* Focus on Trackless Mining, Fixed and Mobile Plant Training

Qualifications and Experience
* BSc Degree in Social Sciences and/or a qualification as an Engineer
or Technician or Artisan
* Diploma in Human Capital Development from IPMZ is required
* Minimum of 3years experience in a similar role at a mechanised mine
* Previous experience with OEM interface is preferred
* The candidate must possess a mining blasting license and the ability
to practice and promote safe work behaviours
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to this role
