Special Automobile Underwriters of Zimbabwe (SAUZ) is looking for a
suitably qualified and experienced cnadidate to fill the above
mentioned position which has arisen within the company. The position
is in Harare. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Board
of Directors and will be responsible for the following:-
Responsibilities
¤ Strategic planning for the company
¤ Budget Preparation for the branch
¤ Growing the company business portfolio inline with corporate strategy
¤ Preparing adhoc and periodic management and Board reports
¤ Preparation of Board Papers
¤ To act as a company representative in liasing with the press,
Ministry of Transport, IPEC, Cross Border Bus Operators's Association,
VID or any other external stakeholder
¤ General Management of the Company
Qualifications and Experience
*First Degree in Insurance or a related field
* Associationship in Insurance (Individuals working towards the
qualification may be considered)
* At least 3years experience in motor underwriting, claims management
and credit control
* Results oriented
* Extensive knowledge of the local insurance industry
* Have a good working relationship with a good number of registered
brokers in Zimbabwe
* Be conversant with the operations of the transport sector in Zimbabwe
