Vacancy: Business and Biodiversity Officer

A local NGO based in Harare seeks the services of a Business and Biodiversity Officer on a fixed term contract.

Duties and responsibilities
-    Implement waste management and recycling activities in the Organization
-    Implement environmental education and public awareness especially on waste management and recycling
-    Engage the media on environmental issues in Zimbabwe, particularly waste management and recycling
-    Facilitate training on waste management and clean technologies in business, local authorities, schools and communities
-    Support local authorities, business and schools to develop waste management plans
-    Constant update of funders on progress on project implementation and output

Qualifications and relevant work experience
-    Degree in Environmental Science or related qualification
-    3 years relevant work experience
-    Class 4 Driver's license. Person Specifications
-    Strong interpersonal skills
-    Strong communication skills.

Remuneration package will be disclosed to shortlisted candidates.
