Academic Qualifications
🔹Degree in Accounting/Finance 2.1 or better/ACCA/CIMA an added advantage.
🔹Relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.

Description:
🔹Ensure that Business Unit Management Accounts are submitted timeously, are representative of the Business Unit underlying records and comply with Statutory Requirements and International Accounting Standards.
🔹Ensures that all reports coming from the Business Units are required by Management for decision making purposed meet Management’s expectation and are reliable records for decision making purposes.
🔹Coordinate all financial issues between the Business Units and Head Office Management
🔹Ensure that Business Unit Internal Control Systems are in place and that there is continuous review and improvement of those systems to meet the needs of both Internal and External Customers.
🔹Analyse and investigate variances revealed by monthly Business Unit Management Accounts for Management to take corrective action.
🔹Oversee the preparation of the Business Units annual operating budgets consisting of drawing up the parameters and ensuring that they are correct before they are consolidated into the Group Budget.
🔹Comply with the latest and most relevant ISO Standard.
🔹Any other duties as delegated by management.

Skills Required
🔹Be a team player and with good communication skills.
🔹Be able to work under pressure and adhere to set time frames and targets.

Experience
🔹At least three (3) years’ experience.

• Assist in financial accounting.
• Balance recons and reviews.
• Review systems and ensure processes and procedures are being followed appropriately.

Skills

• Knowledge of international accounting practices.
• Able to challenge processes and status quo where necessary.
• Working experience in the banking/financial sectors an added advantages.
