Vacancy: Finance Manager

Hwange Colliery Limited, which is listed on the Harare, Johannesburg and London stock exchanges and is Zimbabwe's leading producer of coal and related by-products, has an immediate vacancy for the above key senior position which reports to the General Manager (Finance & Administration).
Description

The position is based at the Mine and its key attributes are as highlighted below:
Job's key Result Areas:
Overall management of the finances of the business.
Designing, managing and implementation of sound and effective financial management, accounting and
procurement systems of the Company.     .
Designing sound internal control systems.
Sourcing and structuring of project finances to the Company's best advantage.
Production of monthly, half yearly and annual financial statements.
Presentation of sound and accurate financial reports and advice to Senior Management.
Plan and manage Company cash flows.
Co-ordinate the budget process and provide sound financial plans for the Company.
Oversee the effective procurement and inventory/materials management functions/systems.
Responsible for year end process and liaison with external auditors.
Effective team building, supervision and development of subordinates.

Requirements
Job Specifications/Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or related field.
Relevant professional qualification e.g. CA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.
MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
Have at least 10 years experience at senior management level.
Exposure to a mining and/or manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
Good communicator with ability to negotiate at all levels.
