Vacancy: Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision (VMMC) Program Manager/Technical Advisor

UZ-UCSF in collaborative with I-TECH has a vacancy for an experienced Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) Program Manager/Technical Advisor. The VMMC Program Manager will be based in the I-TECH Zimbabwe, Harare office, and he/she will report to the I-TECH Zimbabwe Country Director. Qualifications and Experience -    Masters in Public Health or Medical degree or other related field -    Experience in the scale-up of VMMC programs regionally -    Good knowledge in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care issues -    At least 5 years experience in managing a national, regional or district health programs -    Demonstrated surgical skills -    Demonstrated skills in data analysis, program design, strategic planning, program coordination, implementation and evaluation -    Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, organizational and communication skills Responsibilities The VMMC Program Manager will develop and implement strategies to build the capacity of local stakeholders to independently manage global health programs aimed at strengthening the skills of health care professionals in low-resource settings. The position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the development and implementation of I-TECH VMMC program work plan to support the scale up of the Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision services in Zimbabwe. The Program Manager will work closely with CDC, MOHCW, I-TECH VMMC subgrantee partner the Zimbabwe Association of Chruch-Related Hospitals (ZACH) and other partners to build capacity for VMMC.
