Vacancy : Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing and checking monthly statements for group life assurance schemes.
Uploading monthly data for Pension funds and Group Life Assurance schemes.
Attending to client queries.
Compiling weekly and monthly management reports on workflow.
Calculating pension benefits payments in the event of death, withdrawal, retirement and retrenchment.
Preparing payment letters.

Qualifications and Experience
A degree in Insurance or Mathematics/Statistics.
Computer literacy and working experience will be an added advantage.

Vacancy : Deputy Managing Director

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the above position that has arisen within CABS
Executive Management.

The Deputy MD will be responsible for the day to day management of revenue generating business units as well as the operations of
CABS. The ultimate objective is to provide effective management of the business lines to facilitate the delivery of the overall
objectives and targets of CABS as set by the Board and MD. This role is individually accountable for supporting the Deputy Chief
Executive Officer and CABS Managing Director ensuring that the strategy of the business is implemented in alignment to the Old
Mutual Zimbabwe strategic thrust and ensures business operattons function optimally.

Duties and Responsibilities
Deputise and assist the MD In:
Providing leadership to the CABS business to implement the vision, mission, and strategic plans in order to maximize shareholder
return
Developing, managing and executing the operational plans based on strategic plans set and agreed with the Board and MD
Reviewing the business plan and overall financial budgets for approval and execution
Agreeing company-wide performance objectives and monitor progress of corporate strategy. financial and operational goals and
report performance
Overseeing the day-to day business lines and operations
Maintaining an effective work environment in order to attract, retain and motivate a diverse group of top-quality employees at all
levels
Facilitating the implementation of best practices in people management, financial and operational management
Developing and implementing a cost effective data strategy
Implementing strategies and initiatives to Increase sales and revenue across business units
Delivering on strategic projects as required
Managing the profitability of the business (bottom line responsibility)
Managing key external relationships

Qualifications and Experience
A business related university degree and a post-graduate qualification (MBA/MBL) in a business discipline or a professional
qualification are considered prerequisites.
10-20 years relevant banking experience with at least 5-8 years in a senior role in more than one discipline & previous operational and
business unit management.

Vacancy: Audit Specialist (IT & Change)



Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill in the above position that has arisen within Old mutual Group Internal Audit in Harare.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance with IT audit coverage planning;
  • Understands the business and IT management processes to ensure alignment with IT best practices;
  • Identifies and confirms key IT risks (including the performance and review of inherent and residuaI risk assessments);
  • Identifies and evaluates IT controls in place to address key IT risks;
  • Identifies, evaluates and executes IT auditing testing strategies;
  • Documents appropriate audit evidence;
  • Prepares IT audit reports and obtains feedback from senior/executive management;
  • Recommends control design improvements based on best practice


Qualifications and Experience:
-Relevant 3-year degree/diploma with focus on IT.
-An Honours Degree in IT preferred.
-At least 6 years' experience in IT Audit with focus or specialisation in Information Security.
-Must have CISA.
-CISSP, Security+ preferred (or working towards either).
-Good understanding of professional IT control frameworks, e.g. CobiT, ITIL etc.
