Nestle, a leading nutrition, health and wellness company is looking for highly talented and self-motivated Zimbabweans to fill the vacant position in Harare.
Key responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager (Culinary), the Category Development Manager's responsibilities will include:
- Achieving sales related targets (OG, RIG ,TS,CCS and DPA)
- Executing country Culinary Brand plans under the guidance of the BU
- Developing and updating consumer portrait, consumer engagement funnel with assistance of the BU and regional marketing services teams.
- Providing pricing and promotional strategy recommendations, proposing and reviewing continuously priority SKUs for key channels and customers.
- Ensuring that Sales teams are fully briefed of all commercial initiatives in a timely manner and develops sales presenters / aids / catalogues when required.
- Collaborating closely with Demand Planners to establish realistic demand plans and find consensus in MFR in order to establish the monthly COP.
- Constantly monitoring and analysing competitor activity and report accordingly and
- Drives in store and out of store visibility.
Key competencies:
*A degree in marketing, business or related studies
*A minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing and sales with at least 3 years as Brand
Manager and at least 2 years in sales or CCSD function.
*Good global understanding of business environment and issues.
*Analytical skills and financial awareness.
*Planning, organising and problem solving skills.
*Presentation skills and ability to multi-task and
*Excellent communication skills.
